Ms. Spring was here to visit
She arrived the other day
Little did we know
For how long she planned to stay

She's quite a lovely lady
Pretty dress and sunkissed face
My friends ran and hid
Whatever could be the case

They cry as the gifts appear
This year is worse than the last
She came unannounced
No one has learnt from the past

She arrived when winter left
Quite possibly with a curse
And left us in tears
Allergy'd never been worse
